Bailey Waste is driven by the notion that “Waste shouldn’t cost the Earth”. This reflects our combination of a ‘green’ approach to waste management, together with our commitment to customer value. In most cases we are able to combine a more environmentally friendly approach with a cost saving.
We are passionate about protecting our environment and working with our clients to help sustain our planet.
We are also determined to ensure that all clients meet their legal responsibilities when it comes to waste.
Every organisation has both a legal and moral obligation to manage their waste.
Increasingly, there is legislation across different sectors and disciplines that must be adhered to in order to minimise adverse environmental impact. Bailey Waste has the knowledge and expertise to keep you on the right side of the law and to provide you with the solution most appropriate for you. In addition to environmental legislation, the Data Protection Act of 1998 requires companies to dispose of sensitive information securely or face fines of up to £5,000. All organisations hold personal data (relating to customers, employees, suppliers etc). Under the Data Protection Act, organisations must keep records up-to-date, only for as long as they need them, and they must keep them securely. The fact that it is illegal to keep data for longer than it is required brings an immediate need for secure disposal. Bailey Waste can satisfy that business need in an extremely cost effective manner. For more detailed information on the Data Protection Act visit the Information Commissioner’s office website: http://www.ico.gov.uk.

Put simply – recycling is the way forward. It helps the environment and it is also a cheaper option than throwing everything into landfill sites. Taking paper as an example, every Tonne of paper recycled saves 17 trees. Even a small business in Northern Ireland can be directly responsible for saving in excess of 200 trees!
Apart from the environmental benefit, recycling is also of great benefit to our local economy. 10,000 tonnes of waste will create:
- 1 job if incinerated
- 6 jobs if land-filled
- 36 jobs if recycled
The rest of this website sets out ‘Why’ you should choose Bailey Waste but in summary we point to value, trust and track record.
